I can’t say they motivate me to be more or less productive but they make me smile. And if you having one of those days glance at these posters and I guarantee they will make you smile too.
Some posters might have “stronger” message then others but it’s not the picture to blame…

I love (de)motivational posters when they are done right but many of you have no clue. Here’s a hint. The only (de) motivational poster of the whole lot is the one with the main title “Inspiration”. The one that is titled “unique” comes pretty close – but not quite.

Whether or not it is the correct moniker there is nothing ‘conventional’ about a microwave. This also begs the question of what a non-conventional oven is and more so why the ‘traditional’ oven isn’t also the conventional one.
Personally I think that the poster is incorrect and the picture is actually one of a combination oven, one that has both a microwave and conventional oven facility … and that the photographer mistakenly took a picture of the controls for the conventional oven part.

Ahahaha, “Sick of Idiots” is brave enough to think about using CUNT but lacks the prunes to spell it out. (Apologies if you were trying to mask the word “cult.”)
And, as many others have so helpfully pointed out, the format deviates from the original Successories concept, this is true. Pissing about that is failing to consider that a.) Successories is hardly a company to defend, and b.) the construction and function of the internet meme.
B is especially important. Memes are fleeting and so must pack their most powerful punch as early as possible. Much like the Wacky Packages fad, the result will resemble, but not work completely like the original. This is part artistic license and partly the desire for instant gratification. Especially with the popularity of the StumbleUpon button, funny-image-makers really can’t afford the luxury of requiring their viewers to think. This takes too much time and time is laughter. Skilled craftsmen know this.
Now, I am by no means excusing the motivational posters who try too hard for the automatic laugh. Disappointingly, the motivational posters featuring some of nature’s funniest objects (women who are fat and/or ugly) are usually of the lowest quality. This, I think, is a mixture of amateur eagerness and truly antisocial, deeply held social values. Some motivational posters just miss the mark.
I think I might go beat my husband now, just because I can.

Does anyone else HATE IT when people, like pastabake, use “begs the question” incorrectly. IT DRIVES ME CRAZY. begging the question is a phrase used only in regard to circular arguments…not in regard to a question that should be asked. GRAH!

Thanks for providing the laughter, we all need to find a smile but I will admit that I laugh even harder when I find someone arguing about a word or expression when all along they miss the point that you are providing A JOKE!!!! An attempt at humor!!!
To laugh, to smile, to just for one moment in time to remember that underneath all the stuffed shirts and giant egos the human race is sad and needs to get a grip and quit taking everything that comes along so seriously. I think that some of the motivators would’ve been a lot more clever, and more amusing if they had said less in the motivators. Like the one with the triangle, I laughed really hard till I read the rest. I’m not trying to be a hater or anything. You just have potential.
I do like seeing all these pictures again, see some more of these motivators. There are really good ones out there!!!

the stupidity of the birds are, no matter how hard they tried,they couldnt peck and make hole of the metal pole. It is a metal,do u notice?

Well, I wouldn’t say it’s a metal pole, you can see the bird feed inside, and I’ve never heard of a clear metal.
regardless, you can see a slit in the front for the birds to eat…. this is a bird feeder with small holes cut to allow birds to peck food out…
This is why I can figure out the poster, there is nothing stupid about what the birds are doing, they are just eating thru tiny slits like the one found in front of the feeder.

whoever made the birdfeeder one is stupid.
the metal poles are for the birds to stand.
if you look in the front at the bottom of the birdfeeder, there’s a small hole where the seeds can be taken out. The birds are eating out of holes just like that, but they’re sideways so you cant see them.
