12 Odd and Bizarre Fountains
By Village Mayor • Jan 27th, 2009 • Category: Architecture, Latest Post, The Best of Village of Joy, WeirdWhile collecting the pictures for a post about strange sculptures I discovered some very bizarre and odd looking fountains and I really wanted to share it with you. Some of them looked a bit shocking when I first saw them, but after 1 hour of working on this post, cropping, uploading and optimizing the pictures, my eyes became so numb that I can hardly tell my opinion about them. So please share your thoughts in the comments and tell me what you think of these strange fountains.

Actually, that picture you posted for the Nuremberg Ehekarussell doesn’t give half an impression what it looks like, showing only one of the six scenes from a marriage the fountain displays.

The “3. Women under Umbrella,” is from Trelleborg, Sweden.
Its made by Fred Åberg and is titled “Böst”. And that apparently means bad weather

Yeah I’ve seen a couple of those tap fountains. quite a few theme parks have them. Black Pool Pleasure Beach in the U.K. had one but that was 10 years ago. some of those fountains are creepy though.

the vomiting fountain is really cool. nice collection… and yes, the tap fountain is not fake. saw it on TV.

The Tap can be found around the world. One is at the Särkänniemi Adventure Park, Finland. I must say, you have to be quite dumb to not figure out the way it works, and no, it’s not a fake.
